meditacio-backups
A meditacio-backups a Meditációs Egyesület (meditacio.org) saját használatú, belső üzemeltetési eszköze. Nem nyilvános szolgáltatás: nincs regisztráció, és az üzemeltetőn kívül senki nem használja.
Mit csinál?
- A meditacio.org új honlapjának tesztkörnyezetéhez (staging) tartozó adatbázisról készült mentéseket másolja az üzemeltető saját Google Drive-jába.
- A tesztadatbázis kizárólag kitalált tesztadatot tartalmaz.
- A mentések a feltöltés előtt titkosítva vannak; a Drive-ra csak a titkosított mentés és egy titkot nem tartalmazó kísérőfájl kerül.
- A mentések a Drive mentési mappájában legalább 30 napig maradnak. Az ennél régebbieket az eszköz a következő sikeres takarításkor a Drive kukájába helyezi, ahonnan a Google további 30 nap után véglegesen törli őket. A legutóbbi teljes, ellenőrzött mentéspárt (a mentést és a kísérőfájlját) akkor is megtartja, ha 30 napnál régebbi.
Milyen Google-hozzáférést kér?
Csak a legszűkebb Google Drive-jogosultságot (drive.file). A Google ezzel kizárólag azokhoz a Drive-fájlokhoz és -mappákhoz ad hozzáférést, amelyeket ez az alkalmazás maga hozott létre (vagy amelyeket a felhasználó kifejezetten megnyitna vagy megosztana vele – ilyen funkciója nincs). A Drive többi tartalmát az eszköz nem látja.
A Google-jogosultság nem köti az eszközt egy mappához. Azt, hogy az eszköz csak egyetlen mappában (meditacio-backups/staging) dolgozik, és csak onnan, csak a saját mentési fájljait törli, az eszköz saját beállítása rögzíti.

meditacio-backups (English)
meditacio-backups is an internal operations tool for the sole use of Meditációs Egyesület (meditacio.org). It is not a public service: there is no sign-up, and nobody other than the operator uses it.
What does it do?
- It copies backups of the database of the test environment (staging) of the new meditacio.org website to the operator's own Google Drive.
- The test database contains only fictional test data.
- Backups are encrypted before upload; only the encrypted backup and a metadata file without secrets are stored in Drive.
- Backups stay in the Drive backup folder for at least 30 days. Older ones are moved to the Drive trash by the tool at its next successful clean-up, and Google permanently deletes them from the trash after a further 30 days. The most recent complete, verified backup pair (the backup and its metadata file) is kept even if it is older than 30 days.
What Google access does it request?
Only the narrowest Google Drive permission (drive.file). With it, Google grants access only to the Drive files and folders that this app created itself (or that the user would explicitly open or share with it – it has no such feature). The tool cannot see any other content of the Drive.
The Google permission does not tie the tool to a folder. That the tool works in a single folder only (meditacio-backups/staging), and deletes only its own backup files, only from there, is set by the tool's own configuration.
